Welcome to Modern Mother’s Helper!
Our goal is simple: to help make your home feel more manageable so you can spend less time stressing about household tasks and more time focusing on what matters most. We provide personalized household support designed to help busy families stay organized, reduce overwhelm, and create systems that make daily life run more smoothly.

Every family is different, and no two appointments look exactly the same. Our Helpers provide customized support based on your priorities and needs.

Service Packages
Modern Mother’s Helper currently offers the following recurring service options:
Standard
2 hours per week
$79/week
Comprehensive
3 hours per week
$119/week
Premium
4 hours per week
$159/week

Additional appointments may be scheduled based on Helper availability.
Services Outside Our Expertise
Our Helpers are happy to assist with a wide variety of household tasks. However, some services are best handled by professionals who specialize in those areas.

Scheduling
Appointments may be scheduled directly through the client portal:
Clients may also coordinate scheduling directly with their assigned Helper.
Once an appointment has been scheduled, a confirmation email will be sent. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your appointment has not been confirmed.
Appointment availability is subject to Helper availability and existing bookings.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that life happens.
We ask that clients provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible if an appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
Repeated last-minute cancellations may impact future scheduling availability.
Transportation & Errands
Many clients utilize their Helper for errands such as grocery shopping, returns, donation drop-offs, package drop-offs, and household shopping.
To account for travel time, any appointment that includes errands outside the home will have 15 minutes deducted from either the beginning or end of the scheduled appointment.
For example, during a 3-hour appointment that includes a grocery pickup, approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes will be spent performing tasks in the home, with up to 15 minutes allocated for transportation.
Supplies & Reimbursements
Clients are responsible for providing any household products, organizational supplies, food items, cleaning products, laundry supplies, or other materials needed to complete requested tasks.
Any purchases made by a Helper on behalf of a client must be reimbursed by the client.
Helpers will not be expected to use personal funds for client purchases without prior approval.
Access to the Home
Clients are responsible for providing safe access to the home, including any gate codes, entry instructions, lockbox information, or alarm details necessary for the appointment.
For everyone’s protection, we recommend securing cash, jewelry, firearms, medications, and other valuables prior to service.
Pets
We love pets and are happy to work in pet-friendly homes.
Please let us know about any pets in the home before your appointment so we can ensure your Helper is comfortable and prepared.
Safety
The safety of our clients and Helpers is extremely important.
Helpers may decline any task that presents a safety concern, including heavy lifting, climbing ladders, handling hazardous materials, or working in unsafe conditions.
Damage or Incidents
Our Helpers take great care while working in your home. In the rare event that something is damaged or an incident occurs, please notify Modern Mother’s Helper as soon as possible so we can review the situation and work toward a resolution.
Payment
Invoices are typically emailed within 48 hours following service.
Payments may be made digitally through the payment link included on your invoice.
Modern Mother’s Helper does not accept cash payments.
Photos & Videos
Your privacy is important to us.
Helpers will never take photos or videos inside your home without your written permission.
In situations where photos may be helpful for organization projects, progress tracking, marketing purposes, or incident documentation, your Helper will first obtain written approval before taking any photos or videos.
Working With Your Helper
We are proud of the Helpers we employ and invest significant time and resources into recruiting, screening, training, and supporting them.
All Helpers are employees of Modern Mother’s Helper.
Clients agree not to directly hire, employ, contract with, or otherwise engage a Modern Mother’s Helper employee outside of MMH services during the course of service and for a period of 12 months following their last appointment.
If a client wishes to increase services or schedule additional appointments with a Helper, all scheduling and payment arrangements must continue through Modern Mother’s Helper.
Service Flexibility
There are no long-term contracts or commitments required for service.
Clients are welcome to schedule appointments as needed based on availability.
